I think a good standard for what is considered a lord is the following,
Must posses full wargear for yourself (armour, guns, bladed weapons, camping kit and your banner)
Must have some wargear for 5 others, that could be fighting knives, camping gear, guns, or spare armour if you have it.
Must have a holding, a keep, a defensible base. I'm opting at first for a longhouse in a fortified encampment in the woods.
Must have a garden, some way to get food, beyond this I'd also suggest other stations for self sufficiency.
Must have a library and training ground, so your men can grow in all manners.
Must have an armoury, a place to house, clean, repair, or build weapons and armour
Must have cottages or houses for a few of your men and kin
Must have a tower, this is similar to old rules on what defines a castle, but it is a basic piece of fortification or sighting any lord needs.
Must have a temple or some place of worship, whether christian or pagan we all need a place to seek greater
Council.
In addition I'd say to be a Lord you need a warband of at least five heavily equipped officers, and ten to twenty other fighting men at least.
If you are along the coasts or rivers you also need boats enough for your warband to navigate the terrain.
This is all for those men who are seeking to take the title of lord for themselves, and to break away from this society to start their own.
It should be noted that by these standards I am not a lord, not yet. For now I am just a leader of a few men who swore themselves to me, and I to the protection of them and their families, I am a lord rising. One day, perhaps within just a year or two, I can call myself Lord, though my men call me by that title and others already. I do not feel as though am worthy of it
yet
You can grow beyond this, you should. But I believe this to be the point at which you are inarguably a lord, though a lesser lord fit to rise further
