With the growing concerns regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), our commitment to serving our residents and 'community is of the utmost importance to us.
We have been notified by King County that a COVID-19 rehabilitation center will be installed at
531 Elliott Avenue West sometime in April 2020, as further described in the enclosed King County notice dated March 16, 2020. This location is across the street and just south of Canvas
Apartments. Per King County it will be a rehabilitation center, not quarantine or isolation center.
Per the King County notice, in order to minimize a strain on our local healthcare facilities and for the safety of the public at large, King County has identified the location at 531 Elliott Avenue
West a place for individuals to recover. The rehabilitation center will be used to house up to 72 individuals in a controlled environment with 24-hour security and an on-site manager.
Individuals will be transported to the rehabilitation center that:
Are recovering in hospitals from illness, not solely related to COVID-19, in order to increase the capacity in which hospitals can treat COVID-19 patients.
Cannot safely get well.
Have acute healthneeds.
Reside in student living with close quarters and shared common spaces.
As information develops and becomes available from King County, we will provide updates to all of our residents.
