'SURVIVOR FOUND JUDGMENT Al f ne,
Example of an analytic apriori proposition and an affirmative subject- predicate judgment whose the predicate concept is contained with the subject concept. The concept "fun things" contains the concept "fun"; the concept "fun" is part of the definition of the concept "fun things."
Clearly a reference to Kant's Critique of Pure Reason, particularly the examination on the possibility of metaphysics, which is later on expanded by Yui alluding to Frege and
Carnap's logical positivism by asking whether one can't call "Fun things" simply "Funs",
Frege's notion of analyticity included a number of logical properties and relations beyond containment: symmetry, transitivity, antonymy, or negation and so on. He had a strong emphasis on formality, in particular formal definition, and also emphasised the idea of substitution of synonymous terms. "Funs are fun" can be expanded out with the formal definition of Funs as "Fun things" to form "Fun things are fun" which is recognisable as tautologous and therefore analytic from its logical form: any statement of the form "All X that are (F and G) are F". This expanded idea of analyticity was able to show that all Kant's examples of arithmetical and geometrical truths are analytical apriori truths not synthetic apriori truths.

The two covenants
Part 2 of 2
Deuteronomy
6 : 25 - And it
shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these
Isaiah : 54 17 - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment
commandment thou shalt condemn.
s before the This of the is the heritage servants of the of the servants of the
LORD our LORD, and their
God, as he hath righteousness is of commanded me, saith the
LORD.
Allow me to provide a few more examples here:
Romans : 3 : 21 - 24 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Jeremiah : 23 : 6 - In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Galatians : 3 : 6 - 12 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto
Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful
Abraham.
For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
Galatians : 3 : 21 - 25 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the
law.
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
"The law was added because of transgressions till the seed should come to whom the promise was made" Galatians
The seed = Jesus Christ (Galatians
The promise = The Spirit (Galatians
Galatians : 5 : 18 - But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Galatians : 5 : 19 - 23 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Under the law = works for righteousness
Led by the Spirit = righteousness by grace through faith, the free gift, righteousness imputed to you
The Spirit works in Gods elect to do his good pleasure.
Isaiah : 26 : 12 - LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.
Philippians : 2 13 - For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
1 Peter : 1 : 5 - Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
I could go on for a long time giving examples of this and that but im gonna bring this post on the two covenants to an end. Now I said in the last post that
Jesus fulfilled the law when he died on the cross for
his people.
John 16 : 7 - Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
The comforter = the Holy Spirit
In order for the new covenant to have come, Jesus blood must've been shed. He was the husband.
Romans : 7 : 1 - 4 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
"Bring forth fruit unto God" the fruit of the Spirit.
Let's continue the next two verses:
Romans : 7 : 5 - For when we were in the flesh,
the motions of sins, which were by the law, did
work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
Romans : 7 : 6 - But now we are delivered from
the law, that being dead wherein we were held;
that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
To serve in newness of Spirit is by faith and producing the fruits of the Spirit listed in Galatians, that and to "mortify the deeds of the body" Romans
That is to put away the old man, the works of the flesh. Now there are many more examples i can and will give of how we are not under the law given at Sinai, and how it was only to be until Jesus came
to fulfill it. I will give more in later posts, but for now I hope you enjoyed these two.
