'This item is a small jade tea pot that is crafted to resemble a dragon. this tea pot can be used as normal to make tea, and gains its magical properties when attuned to. if someone attunes to this tea pot and boils water in it for 10 minutes the teapot will come to life, using the attached stat block in this animate state. the creature will revert to its inanimate state after it is dropped to o hit points, if it runs out of liquid inside of it, or after 1 hour has passed. a person attuned to the pot can command it with their bonus action, if no command is issued the pot will take to dodge action.
the breath weapon of the creature deals fire damage by default, this can be changed by placing different items inside of the boiling water. if mint is placed into the water the breath weapons damage becomes cold, if bitter tea is placed into the water the breath weapons damage becomes acid, if nightshade is placed into the water the breath weapons damage becomes poison, and if iron is placed into the water the breath weapons damage becomes lightning.
