Off grid/ bushcraft survival update.
Here is a list of some things ill be studying, but I'll probably be adding more to that list
Off grid study
Food: long lasting and seeds, hunt animals, eat bugs
Bug out bag
Water: storage and filtration, distillation
Water: distill from rivers lakes or rain, or dig a well.
Electricity (if possible)
Medicine: antibiotics, wound treatment etc.
Weapons: bow and arrows, spears, guns and ammo
Tools: hatchet
Canned goods lifespan
Canned Salmon = 4 years
Canned Tuna = 4 years
Canned black beans (goya brand) = 5 years
Canned ranch style beans = 2 years
Canned hormel tamales = 3 years
Canned chicken = 3 years
Canned spam = 2 years
These are just a few examples, also not uncooked dry beans will stay good pretty much continually if stored properly, and white rice will last up to 10 years.
For those of you looking to prepare I suggest making water collection and filtration and food storage a main priority.
Bottles of water will go fast, unless you have a few dozen pallets of water stored in your house, it's gonna be really difficult to find clean drinking water. You're gonna need to wash your clothes and poop rags aswell eventually because toilet paper isn't gonna be a thing and you don't wanna have dirty clothes. The best thing is to be by a river because that running water will be best for this.
