To have an impact you have to play this in a very specific manner. Collapse isnt going to happen on the scale that any of you hope, and a full collapse would cause as much suffering as the agricultural revolution itself and might actually just make us go extinct. we must make it to the top and swing the pendulum back ourselves, to minimize the suffering and maximize our future potential.

A collapse would double the amount of human suffering the agricultural revolution has already caused. Most logical course is to take over and fix things lol. dont think tech will actually go away. Either the advancements we are speeding towards will uphold society and its sins against nature and humanity or we take the reigns and actually use it to make things better
(or stop shit like ai before it goes to far)

After Smudge Pots were banned from agricultural use in most Western countries, a new better and cleaner frost-protection tool was invented: Frost
fans. These are comically large fans that blow heated air and they can cover an entire field by heating up the air. Much more efficient and effective

Smudge Pots were a popular agricultural tool from 1907. Frost could damage crops or in bad cases, wipe out an entire yield. An inventor solved this by making a continously oil-burning torch, soon after countries around the world adopted them. During the Vietnam war,
Vietcong would use smudgepots to protect areas from aser- guided weapons. The black oil smoke is so thick that military technology could not register past it.
