    • I have a zig zag scar on a finger. He did it because the tendon is less likely to recede during healing as opposed to a straight line. I had a tumor on my wrist and they just cut a straight line. Double hernia they fucked everything up. Lines are crooked, the mesh is fucked. Shop around for surgeons

When I was talking to the surgeon he said that he would have a plastic surgeon stitch me up so that the tattos stayed aligned. I was going to ask for this to begin but this was cool of him.

    • Theres actually a good reason for this. inks, and for some reason red inks in particular, can cause major allergic reactions when in contact with deeper tissues and the blood stream. The only reason I know this is because in nursing school they taught us to never draw blood through a tattoo

    • I think most surgeons would do this if they could, most are pretty thoughtful when it comes to scarring and what not, so I think generally they always do their best to conceal incisions, plus I think cutting tattoos poses some medical risks
