    • As someone who works in EMS if you don’t have insurance we usually don’t get paid. We may send a bill to your address but often times they don’t get paid and we just lose that money. I’m sure hospitals work in a similar way

For a extremely minimal burial you are looking at $1500 for the grave space $1000 for the cheapest casket $2000 for a super cheap marker (gravestone) $400 to open and close the ground.
