    • I work at a prison where we have a similar program, but with dogs. The inmates have to go through a lot of hoops to get into the program and it works out pretty well for the most part. The inmates also know that if they screw up, they're booted out, so there's motivation to be on their best behavior

    • A few prisons in wv and ohio actually accept shelter dogs and puppies and they are in a program to train the dogs for people that suffer disabilities, and a few dogs that help police officers and stuff. The inmates said they loved working with the dogs and it helped them become better people.
