Others wailed like young children and a few quietly dabbed
tears from their eyes. I seemed to be the only one who
wasn’t upset. ‘Why are you all so sad?" I asked. None of
them could hear me over their pitiful cries. I highered my
tone of voice and hollered, “WHY ARE YOU ALL
FREAKING OUT?" A few koalas looked at me, wide eyed.
One of them piped up and said, “Don't you know what
Cosmos is going to do with us?" I shook my head. The
other koala told me, “He calls it a journey but really it’s a
suicide mission. He'll lead us off into a desert where we will
have to tend for ourselves without any food or water.
Dangers lurk around every comer.”. ! gasped. How
dreadful! I thought, completely shocked at the idea. "We'll
live through it..." I said even though I didn’t believe it
myself. The other koalas shook their heads. We all knew
this was it. Cosmos unlocked the door and stepped in.
“Hello there, koala friends. It's time to begin your journey!"
He said with fake enthusiasm. I growled at him. "Now
Blooming, don’t get that way,” He said in a taunting voice. I
wanted to claw his eyes out so badly One animal yelled
out at him, “YOU’RE A FILTHY PIG FOR DOING THIS
