    • Here me out. during the Jedi purge, a lot of the archives was lost and could include the art of Jedi combat. The only two who could teach luke were Some old hermit and an outcasted muppet. Neither of which focused their teachings on combat. So luke didn’t know that much and therefore couldn’t teach

    • The closest form I can find to the way Rey fights in the movies is form 1. Wide sweeping movements, and one of the only forms where you dont need to suppress emotion. It was also used by Yoda for a short time, and Luke for most of his trilogy.
