    • I thought purple was someone who used both the light and dark in balance

    • So wait can any person use a lightsaber or just Jedi?

    • Purple doesn’t mean that. There’s many fan theories but none of them are true. Red does mean that, but in canon red crystals only means that because they’ve been corrupted, and in legends they only mean that because they’re traditionally associated with the sith.

    • And all of this info about Blue, Green and Yellow crystals is legends. In canon, there are no meanings (even tho it would make sense if there were because in canon crystals are transparent and change colours after bonding with their owner). The only jedi in canon who use yellow are temple guards.

    • In the past “Blue indicated a Jedi Guardian, a Jedi who used the Force on a more physical level. Green indicated a Jedi Consular, a Jedi who preferred to reflect on the mysteries of the Force and fight the dark side at its heart.” But that’s only in the past. It’s a tradition that jedi no longer use

    • These are the correct traditional meanings: Blue means that you rely on lightsaber sk.ills more, not that you’re weaker in the force. Green means that you rely on the force more, not that you’re a less sk.ill.ed duelist. Yellow is a mix of both.
