• i'm sure people know this, but for those of you who don't, alligators and
crocodiles (this is a gator) have some of the most powerful jaws on earth
-if they're biting down. their muscles are made to clamp and hold while
its body twists, taking down its prey and (typically) drowning it. however,
they have next to no opening power, meaning this crab's claw has
rendered this gator almost powerless
"shhh stop talking'

    • The gator will thrash and one of two things will happen the crab gets a little shaken up but over all perfectly fine or it will be launched however before it's launched it's arm will break off because they are that fucking stubborn and the claw will still be on the gators mouth

    • An American alligator definitely can open its mouth against a crab. They just have a very small reaction to most stimulus. This one probably doesn’t care.
