• I have to wonder how many Christians live a
complacent, meaningless, boring life because
their believe in an afterlife didn't compel them
to live much of a regular one.
I guess it's not all that original of a thought, but it's
interesting to me thinking about the idea of spending a life
worshiping something bigger than you knowing always
that you'll likely never live up to expectations vs. the idea of
self-empowerment and striving to live the best life possible.
Dont mind me.
Just look at this graph.

    • I mean. Eternal paradise with a God who loves you so much he came down as man to conquer death seems pretty sweet. I don’t understand why people wouldn’t choose to walk with Him. Or maybe it’s because they would have to strive for a moral life and believe they aren’t the center of the universe

    • Atheists can't comprehend a love without parting because they dont even view love to be something other than chemicals in our brain. Truly sad.

    • Really scared myself last night thinking about after death. An empty void devoid of thought or meaning. I couldn't even imagine. I believe in heaven and hell. I truly hope that there lies something beyond. At least I can comprehend suffering.

    • Its more like you have heaven to look towards after your life. To me I want to live a life where I help people and protect people. In my opinion your life affects whether you go to heaven or hell in the afterlife. Its also the belief everything will be eventually ok in the end
