They could have just not had those roads and used mountains as they did elsewhere to borders

    • With Breath of the Wild, if you try and venture too far outside of the map from most points, you’ll usually just be met with a bottomless chasm so large and massive that there’s no real way to possibly cross it, but the game does make it seem there’s land just beyond it so it’s pretty clever

    • The early fallouts were like that, but Fallout 4 and Skyrim have none of that nonsense. Sometimes their mountain (in an expected location, not in the middle of the road) fails though, because horses are too OP, and they do have to resort to invisible walls. But that is just for us players who enjoy
