After the car crash that had killed his parents moments
ago, Bill was huddled under a street iamp, holding
himself, crying. He didnt know what to do. he had just
witnessed his parents killed. The car that had hit them
immediately drove off, leaving Bill stranded on the
empty, ionely, dark road in the middle of nowhere.
Bills head jerked up at the sound.
'Are you ok?“
It was his mother's voice.
'Come over here, I need it see if you're ok.“
Getting up, Bill was about to leave the warmth of the
street lamp when he heard another voice.
'Don‘t move, Stay in the light, always be in my sight'
Bill froze in his tracks. That was his father's voice.
'Please come to me. I'm hurt. I need your help,"
'No! Don't listen. Stay in the light. or else you will lose
The voices Continued in his head relentlessly. He was
going crazy, already teriiﬁed with what had happened.
He looked down and saw a sharp rock. He picked it up,
and tore at his ears with it. He couldn't listen anymore.
Holding his bloodied ears in his hands, he still heard the
voices in his head. He cut into his head with the rock. He
had to get the voices out of his head.
