Sorry, but I gotta rant for a second.
There is a big difference between the statement "black lives the group black lives matter (BLM). When people say "all lives matter" they aren't disagreeing with the statement, they're just distancing themselves from the group and not condoning some of the things they do.
I'm not just talking about looting and violence. I'm also talking about some of the beliefs the people have. Many believe that white people are all subconsciously biased and you can't even be racist towards whites under their definition of racism. Being called racist just for existing leaves a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. The people in BLM lack self awareness. They have no idea just how racist they really sound. On top of that they're really dismissive of anything bad anyone in their group does. The rioting and looting is just written off as "just part of change". The last thing I'd say people have such a problem with is that most also mix identity politics in with their rhetoric.
Black people are above all others, but female and LGBTQ black people are above them in their hierarchy.
