    • Where people with history of mental illness reside. And I am an ex competitive shooter because it was a sport offered by my school. I would have like to continued with competitive shooting but I could not afford it with the cost of college and everything else.

    • @CU_Shipwreck, I think gun owners should be have to go through background checks when purchasing a firearm. Wtf is wrong with making sure that you are who you say you are when selling a tool with the power to take a life. I also think that firearms should not be allowed in households

    • @Tenacious_C When people call them "assault rifles", that tells me two things. You don't know much of anything about firearms and you shouldn't be in a gun control debate. Semi auto rifles have a place in society. Just because it doesn't pertain to our life right now doesn't mean it never will.

    • You know what else these all have in common? Little to nothing was done to keep people with a history of mental instability from gaining access to firearms. The fact that it is so easy to obtain a firearm is appalling, and this is coming from a gun owner and ex-competitive shooter.
