a lot of online apologetics seems pretty useless to me.
in the classical field but in the presupp one too. people get
caught up in how they formulate their arguments they lose
sight of the goal, which is to lead people to Christ. the Gospel is
acknowledged. apologetics has been seperated from
that shouldn't be the case.
but if you're
dedicating hours to defending why you
word premise 1 of your
version of the KCA how you
do, or to explaining the ontological
the laws of logic... you're probably wasting your time.
9/10 times, whoever you are
talking to has already made up
their mind. they have hardened their heart. they didn't respond
to the Gospel, they just want to feed their ego
that isn't helpful to either of you. this isn't to discredit
apologetics, its great and useful at times, but remember, you're
evangelist first and apologist second. the cosmological,
teleological, ontological, transcendental, moral arguments don't
change hearts. the Gospel does.
